 I would like to cordially invite you to tour our website. Visit our institution. Meet the Director and our team of Educators. I invite you, during the parent-student visitation, to watch our students in their classrooms actively and affectionately pursing their curiosities and establishing a base for the love of learning. I am certain that such an exposure will allow you to conceptualize what makes Small World Montessori’s (SWM) individualized approach for each child so unique and why we are a preferred choice for early care and education.

It is with great pride that we established Miami Gardens’ first true Montessori School. Establishing our Miami Gardens campus was a mission of dedication and love. It was our desire to build an establishment that would promote our values of safety and security, provide a nurturing atmosphere, and create an environment filled with respect and love for each and every child. Beginning with the design and theme of the School, “World at Your Door Steps,” to the personalized attention given to the layout of our educational classrooms, and most importantly to the selection of our team of American Montessori Society (AMS) certified educators. Extensive consideration has been given to every detail with all aspects of the institution in mind. This type of attention to detail is the corner stone of the Small World Montessori organizational culture.

 We find our beginnings as Maria Montessori did, in serving the children of urban environments. Small World Montessori was one of the first organizations that facilitated the availability of Montessori education in an urban setting. Our commitment to the belief that a child’s educational prosperity should not be hindered by economic means, is a long-standing tradition that has been entwined in our philosophy for twenty years. Our concept was simple: each and every child’s development; socially, emotionally, and physically, all collectively and individually, are important in the whole child approach. From our humble beginnings to our current standing, our belief in approaching each child individually has remained unaltered.
